Interventi nel Terzo Paesaggio

Design and research project 

This project was developed in a suburban area close to the metropolitan city of Milan and investigates what Gilles Clément calls Third Landscape. Public lands, now abandoned, seem to belong to no one; therefore, everyone can access them. These are the fields with the last remaining poppies, which are slowly being transformed into shopping centers or new buildings that used to remain unfinished. Together with those who live next to these green areas, we have made interventions with raw wooden modules to experience the green space differently and demonstrate the many possible alternatives to an aggressive building industry.
