Makvol Projects is an artist-run publishing practice that privileges research projects and photobooks in very limited editions.
In its body of work, MP gathers heterogeneous subjects and attitudes: from politics to fashion to architecture, from essays to naïf storytelling.
Makvol used to be the "nom de plumes" of Anna Maconi, who designed the first piece of Makvol projects in Italy in 2016.
A characteristic feature of MP is its ironic and poetic gaze and the fascination for life traces.
